4th Street Studios is a working studio and the home of René Williams Art and Science Loves Art. Metalsmithing, glass fusing, enamel, painting, concrete casting and all kinds of mixed media art is going on all of the time. Usually, René is inspired by her connection to houses as a builder and designer or by the natural world, big and small.
Read more about the vision of the Studios as we remodel the barn and the greenhouse for more options for the public to enjoy art (woodworking, welding, concrete).
For now, glass fusing and paper marbling are the main activities offered to the public at the studios. We’ve got a vinyl record player creating fun music that inspires our artwork! The new studio microscope is always a hit for micro art inspiration as we focus on textures, patterns, colors and think about composition of our work compared to the organic patterns of nature.
Get signed up for an Art Party and learn the basics of glass fusing so you can enjoy even more art during Open Studio times.
Our event schedule is always being updated on our FB Events page, and also on this website on the Art Party tab.
Want to rent the studio for your own intimate get together or organize your own private art party? Use the contact us form or message us on FB.
We look forward to bringing art and curiosity to the community as another maker space in Laramie.
