Description

This new design series starts with solid sterling .925 wire and is shaped, hammered, soldered, polished and finished with varying accents.  The earring wires are hand formed, cut, sanded and polished.  No 2 designs are exactly the same.

This design features hanging clear glass with fine silver and dichroic glass in a large organic loop.

René Williams has been creating glass and jewelry for over 20 years and completed her BFA at the University of Wyoming.  Her focus on metalsmithing and sculpture gave her to tools necessary to design her own style of jewelry by merging her love for unique materials and organic design.

Wabi-sabi is a term that has described René’s abstract and organic work and continues to her jewelry design.  Wabi-sabi is an aesthetic that finds beauty in things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.  There is beauty in imperfection.
